I had a very exciting dream last night.

I was a yokani, which is a species I made up. Basically think of them as an angel, except they're black. Black wings, black hair, dark skin. Now, for some reason I was in jail with a bunch of peole (mom, aunts...) This jail cell had some long bars that faced the outside.

I was sleeping in the jailcell and heard my other inmates whispering about whether they were going to tell me something or not. I got up and asked them repeatedly. It turned out one of them was sick, and everyone else had gotten sick too. I think the only ones left were myself and my mom (although I think she was a little sick). So, she was still around in a cell next to mine separated by more bars.

Now, there seemed to be five people who had "opposed" us and gotten us wrongfully imprisoned. If I recall, they were supposed to be my aunts. My mom and my aunts were still normal people even though I was a yokani.

They came to taunt me in jail, so they held onto the bars outside, acting like some sort of monkeys. Being the only one left who could escape, and the only one that had wings, I decided to go for it. I pushed out one of the bars that my aunt had been swinging on, letting her fall with it, and lunged out of the cell.

It was an immediate chase and I had no time to slow down. I had to get away as soon as possible and find somewhere I could hide. I flew higher and higher until, for a second, I was above the clouds. I thought, "Finally! They can't see me through the clouds. I'll dive to my hiding place through them Wherever I end up I'll stay."

I swooped back down through the clouds and what was in front of me was an abandoned floating island. I went ahead and landed there and decided to stay there. The whole island was green with ancient ruins. It had an "Atlantis" type of feel to it, with the lost city sitting in the sky by itself, untouched by anyone for so long.

Now, I knew why it was abandoned. Apparently a long time ago an alien had been trapped on the island. This alien was a plantlike creature, like a venus flytrap, but somehow people had managed to trap it in a circular place inside the old, abandoned science facility.

Some of the authorities came to get me. The alien was trapped inside of the facility in a circular room, and there were two doors; one on each side. The military was chasing me with weapons, and my brother (Komui from D.Grayman. I know why he was my brother. In a roleplay, my character treats him as a brother) was with them.

I decided to take a risk. I had no weapons to fight back, so I opened one of the doors and ran. The troops ran around and saw the alien come out of the room. They tried to shoot it, but it didn't work. The alien shot some sort of laser at them from it's mouth, and they were all down.

Komui (and his sister Rinali) got knocked down as well. The alien was still there, but I was afraid they would be hurt. I thought, "What am I going to do? I can't fly away with two people."

But I grabbed them both anyway and ran. I took them to the back end of the little island, where it seemed like the "world ended", and laid them down behind a little cliff to try and keep them out of sight.

The alien came, though, and I had to try and do something or we would all die. Komui and Rinali couldn't do anything, so I was the only one who could protect them.

I grabbed its leaf and threw it off the side of the island. It held onto me to drag me down, too.

Below the edge there were some clouds, and it felt like once you go through those clouds there was no coming back. It's much like finding a glitch in a video game, and if you manage to get to spots you're not supposed to be able to, you feel like you can fall into a neverending pit and get stuck by accident.

I managed to shake free and start flying right before I got pulled under those clouds. I flew back up to where Komui and his sister was, and we started talking about how now that I killed the dangerous alien that everyone feared, maybe I could get a fair trial. Komui would try to make sure I was freed.

And that's where the dream ended.
